Life – Beauty – Crafts – Food – Fashion

In a nutshell, this blog is here to show the story of a girl journeying through life with the chronic conditions Fibromyalgia, M.E./Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and depression. I’ll try to make the blog posts fun and easy to read, but sometimes the issues I am writing about can only be dealt with in a serious way. I am open to people asking questions related to the posts, in fact I’d encourage you to ask away.

Why write about something like that?

Because people think conditions like this are imaginary, and those who do believe in it, don’t know what it really is to live with these illnesses. I don’t want this to be a blog which contains post after post of whining, but I also won’t hold back in detailing the way in which I am affected. This blog will be frank and honest. How will people’s perceptions of chronic illnesses change if people like me don’t tell our stories? So here I am pouring the intimate details of my life out in the public sphere of the internet because that is all I can do.

Please help me by sharing my blog posts on Twitter, Facebook and other social media websites, by talking to your friends about it, and by interacting through the comments box. The blog fairies will grant your heart’s truest wish if you do.

Note: To the author’s knowledge blog fairies neither exist nor are able to grant wishes.

Disclaimer: often my condition gives me brain fog so I can’t promise the posts will always be eloquent or have perfect grammar.

I also live with fibro and mild lupus. Glad to say that I am a fellow “spoonie.” I was wondering where you got that great spoon charm bracelet that was pictured in your blog?
